It is human nature to want acceptance from our peers, as no one enjoys rejection. "Will someone like me?" can be a question that an individual with special needs ask themselves daily. David Bloch voiced this internal struggle to his mother. David was diagnosed with autism at age five and his severe immunodeficiency disorder caused him to be isolated from people and many public places.
