Pumpkins Please

Bring on the pumpkins! There are so many great activities you can do with your child around this time of year. From hay rides to pumpkin picking; you can make a whole weekend out of it! But the most fun activities are hands on; decorating or carving a pumpkin. Let your child draw the face and dig the seeds out with you. This is a great sensory activity. You can help them sort the seeds from the guts while practicing counting them. And you can bake the seeds later for a nice fall treat or even make pumpkin pie! Make the simplest activities learning opportunities!
