Movement as a Form of Therapy

Researchers are studying the impact of dance and movement play for children with special needs. Parents have reported their children enjoy musical activities and often display positive interactions with others such as greater eye contact, smiling and speaking. Some children with limited speech and movement are able to improve their social communication and motor skills while engaging in dance or movement play. All Pieces Fit is proud to offer Tumblebear Gymnastics to our clients during therapy hours to help increase language skills, improve timing and attention, and to practice teachable moments in a more natural environment! Speak with the staff at All Pieces Fit to learn more about this fun opportunity!
